With experience working in commercial properties from Class A to industrial, J.M. Scott Construction takes every precaution to care for the properties in which we are working. We protect the building's MEP systems, finishes within the building, and make sure the areas on the exterior of the building that are used for construction purposes are kept clean. Matthew Scott; President
Matthew is a 2006 graduate of East Carolina University, where he majored in Construction Management. Upon graduation, Matthew accepted a position with Commonwealth Building Services, Inc. (CBS). In the early years working for CBS, Matt worked in the field, where he gained valuable experience on the inner workings of commercial construction projects, from the technical point of view. After a couple of years in the field, Matt began taking on the responsibilities of estimating and project management.
At J.M. Scott Construction, Matt is responsible for estimating and project management, as well as new business development.
Jason Chin; Vice President
Jason is a 2005 graduate of Radford University, where he majored in Management and Marketing. Upon graduation, Jason accepted a position with Commonwealth Building Services, Inc. (CBS). Jason began his career in the field as an assistant superintendent, where he gained valuable knowledge in the various aspects involved in commercial construction projects. After several years in the field, Jason took on the responsibility of lead superintendent on many of the larger projects. Jason exhibits great foresight and his efficiency ensures that tasks are completed, keeping projects on schedule and running smoothly.
At J.M. Scott Construction, Jason is responsible for supervising field operations, while assisting with estimating and project management, as needed.
